Mr. Fountzoulas is an internationally trained orthopaedic surgeon with comprehensive training in all aspects of Shoulder and Elbow surgery, acquired through training programs in the UK, France, and Italy, encompassing both elective procedures and complex trauma cases. He completed a prestigious shoulder fellowship under the guidance of Prof. Pascal Boileau at Nice University Hospital, gaining extensive experience in Shoulder surgery within a high-intensity fellowship program. During this period, Mr. Fountzoulas participated in a multi-center study in Nice, leading to a presentation of his work on the Norris technique at the international Nice shoulder conference in 2016. His time in France also involved significant research contributions, including co-authoring three book chapters and an article on the Norris technique. Mr. Fountzoulas furthered his expertise through two one-year fellowships in Shoulder and Elbow surgery at the South West London Elective Orthopaedic Centre (SWLEOC) under the mentorship of Mr. Patel and Mr. Little, as well as at the North Tees University Hospital, working closely with Mr. Jeavons and Mr. Liowe.
